Columbia J Class Racing Yacht
"Columbia" was an American contender for the America's Cup in 1901 and was the first to win the race twice in a row. She weighed 148.7 tonnes and was 40.15m long with a sail area of 1,189 sq m.
Our model is made of wood (planked) with cloth sails, brass fittings and deck detail. The finish is deliberately flecked to resemble an antique yacht model and measures 64cm tall and 57cm from boom to bowsprit.
