HMB “Endeavour” XL
"Endeavour" started life as an English coal carrier before achieving high status as a ship of exploration under Captain James Cook.
It was the blunt nosed stability of this little coal carrier that made her ideal for Cook's astronomy duties (Cook observed a transit of the planet Venus) as well the many trials and tribulations of discovering new lands.
The hull of this model is hewn from a single piece of hardwood and measures 48cm from boom to bowsprit and 46cm from the base to the top of the mid-mast. It comes fully assembled.
