The Brig, "Lady Nelson" was built in England in 1799 and became an important exploration vessel in the early history of Australia. She was the first to sail west to east through Bass Strait, which separates the island state of Tasmania from the mainland. A replica of "Lady Nelson" currently sails out of Hobart.
The hull of this model is hewn from a single piece of hardwood and measures approximately 35*35cm. It comes fully assembled.
